About The Position

This position will be HYBRID 1x per week in Stamford, CT. Top Skills’ Details: Marketing Technology: Must understand how marketing tools work, how digital experiences are executed, and how marketing and tech align to deliver updates. Adobe: Candidate should know why Adobe Target is used and how to access/analyze data in Adobe Analytics. Expertise not required, but familiarity is essential. Testing & Optimization: Should understand experiment setup, evaluation, and component testing workflows. Cross-Team Integration: PM and PO work closely with Marketing, developers, Pete’s designers, QA, and the broader Digital Marketing Pod. Prioritization: Ability to juggle rapid requests while leading multi-month strategic roadmap efforts. Soft Skills: Relationship building, negotiation, communication, and collaboration are critical. The Product Owner (PO) will sit within the Digital Sales team, working inside the Digital Marketing Pod. These roles are responsible for leading both strategic and tactical work across the website, including a full experience refresh and ongoing high-volume updates. The PO will focus on day-to-day execution—running sprints, prioritizing the backlog, and ensuring developers have the right tasks at the right time. Collaborate daily with Marketing, developers, designers, and cross-functional teams to manage fast-turnaround changes, new component builds, testing strategies, and complex digital initiatives. The environment is fast-paced, high-volume, and requires strong leadership, communication, and marketing technology competence. Adobe experience is preferred, as the organization is transitioning from Phoenix to Adobe by year end. Candidates should understand the purpose of Adobe Target and how to pull insights from Adobe Analytics. The Product Owner is primarily focused on managing the product feature intake of one or more highly complex digital experience products, ensuring product initiatives are translated into technical requirements for delivery team(s). Working closely with a Product Manager, the Product Owner helps define, communicate and align the product vision and goals with the delivery team to ensure work is properly prioritized and completed.

Responsibilities

  • Defines, refines and prioritizes the delivery team backlog
  • Creates consumable user stories for the delivery team to action upon
  • Communicates team bandwidth and capacity with stakeholders
  • Supports Product Manager with developing and planning the product strategy
  • Owns features and stories from initiation to acceptance
  • Ensures work is properly defined through continuous refinement of product backlog
  • Identifies and communicates risks and dependencies to ensure tasks stay on plan
  • Prepares and participates in product planning ceremonies including DSU, Refinement, Sprint Planning and Quarterly planning
  • Produces release communications and demos
  • Provides vision and direction to the delivery team
  • Communicates status updates to stakeholders
  • Identifies opportunities for product improvements and team efficiencies
