About The Position

iManage U provides students the chance to experience a dynamic, rapid growth technology company firsthand. iManage will provide a structured program which delivers project-based activities, improved knowledge of business fundamentals, tackling complex problem solving, collaboration, team building, and some fun experiences along the way! This year, our paid internship program will kick-off on Monday, June 8th and will run through Thursday, August 13th. This internship will be based out of our downtown Chicago office, with activities requiring in-person presence. As an intern, you will work on Agile teams and closely collaborate with our development, user experience, and quality assurance organizations. You will have the opportunity to be immersed within our iManage product suite and directly assist our internal teams and customers. The Product Owner team uses their problem solving, critical thinking, and technical skills to analyze and resolve customer challenges, develop best practices, and ensure customer success. In one of our fastest growing teams within our organization, you will learn all things iManage and have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with our different teams, i.e., product managers and engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Been pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to motivate others to share their vision and enthusiasm
  • Excellent written and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Write User or Job stories to capture detailed requirements for certain features
  • Organize information and data pertaining to a feature development (ex: in a WiKi)
  • Collaborate with different internal teams like UX Design, QA, Application Security, etc. depending on the specifics of the project(s) you are involved in
  • Perform exploratory testing to analyze the existing behavior and help define improvements
