About The Position

Owns the creation and support of technology solutions that align with Midmark’s
strategic objectives and customer needs that are delivered by an Agile
development team. Defines and prioritizes the product backlog, collaborating
with cross-functional teams—including marketing, business leads, UX/UI design,
and technology teams—and ensuring that each product increment delivers maximum
value. By applying design thinking principles & monitoring key product metrics,
the Product Owner drives the development of scalable digital solutions,
fostering continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.  This role is a
hybrid role with 4 days on-site in the Cincinnati, Ohio location and one day
remote.

Requirements

• Bachelors' degree or accredited certification with relevant experience required.
• 3+ years of Agile/Scrum development experience in Cloud, Hybrid or IoT solutions.
• Demonstrates leadership by inspiring and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver value, with guidance.
• Applies critical thinking and consultative skills to assess feasibility, financial impact, and strategic value of initiatives.
• Ability to translate business, stakeholder, and customer needs into commercialized products and digital solutions.
• Ability to manages product roadmaps, backlogs, and delivery plans for an Agile team to drive alignment and on-time delivery.
• Uses data analysis, product metrics, and trends to make evidence-based decisions that improve delivery and outcomes.
• Communicates effectively with stakeholders and customers; gathers feedback and aligns on goals through strong interpersonal skills.
• Understands Agile methodologies and applies Agile principles to enable collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-value delivery.
• Demonstrates a solid understanding of Midmark’s products and business operations with in-depth knowledge within a product/team.
• Brings working DevOps knowledge and technical experience in cloud/hybrid solutions, integrations, CI/CD, APIs, and architecture.
• Supports team development and continuous learning; uses core tools (Office 365, Miro/Mural, Confluence, Azure DevOps), sound decision-making, budgeting input, and AI tools to support backlog planning.

Nice To Haves

• Scrum Product Owner Certification desired.
• Experience with Scaled Agile framework (SAFe) or similar methodologies desired.
• Product Owner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads Agile delivery of technology solutions aligned with Midmark’s product vision, customer outcomes, and strategic objectives.
• Defines, prioritizes, and manages the product backlog using data insights, customer research, and stakeholder feedback to maximize value.
• Maintains and communicates a comprehensive product roadmap, coordinating with Scrum Masters, value streams, and stakeholders to manage risks, dependencies, and delivery alignment.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams (marketing, business, UX/UI, and technology) to design and deliver scalable solutions that meet business and customer needs, ensuring architectural alignment and key non-functional requirements with architects.
• Evaluates feasibility, cost, and ROI to inform product and feature decisions within budget and scope and assisting in future investment opportunities to evolve the roadmap.
• Supports user adoption by partnering with stakeholders, participating in customer research, and applying design thinking to translate needs into digital capabilities.
• Establishes and monitors key product performance metrics to validate value delivery and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentors Agile teams by promoting best practices, supporting planning efforts, fostering alignment with Agile principles and ceremonies.
• Communicates product priorities, trade-offs, and progress to stakeholders to align expectations and ensure transparency.
• Ensures compliance with quality and regulatory standards by maintaining accurate solution documentation and supporting organizational processes.
