About The Position

Local Hero is seeking a collaborative and strategic Product Owner to join their Product & Technology team. The company operates an AI-first environment where agents are prompt-configured, trained, and continually optimized to manage the entire digital advertising lifecycle, including ad creation, media buying, trafficking, reporting, analysis, and optimization. This Product Owner will be highly involved in the continuing design and delivery of agent-driven experiences powered by LLMs, structured data, APIs, and workflow automation. This role sits on the Product team, working closely with the Product Manager, and is responsible for executing the product strategy for the Digital Ad Media buying platform. This position is remote/hybrid available if within commuting distance to Boulder, CO and open to candidates living in Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Utah. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Requirements

3–5 years of Product Management experience in SaaS or technology platforms
Strong understanding of Agile development practices
Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and design
Analytical mindset with ability to define measurable KPIs
Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI system behavior
Experience shipping AI-powered features
Familiarity with prompt engineering and AI workflow design
Experience defining evaluation metrics for AI systems
Understanding of latency, token cost trade-offs, and model performance considerations
Experience designing conversational or AI-assisted user experiences
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

Support the Product Manager in refining and executing the agentic AI digital media platform strategy
Own end-to-end delivery of AI-powered features from concept to production
Design new intuitive user experiences powered by intelligent automation
Partner with engineering to define AI system behavior and interaction patterns
Translate new business workflows into scalable product functionality
Improve evaluation metrics for AI-driven features (accuracy, reliability, latency, ROI impact)
Lead experimentation to improve AI-driven feature performance
Improve human-in-the-loop review and escalation workflows
Collaborate with engineering to implement APIs and integrations
Support stakeholder analysis to understand user behavior and requirements
Improve user testing programs to validate assumptions
Contribute to product roadmap definition and own detailed roadmap execution and prioritization
Translate business requirements into product specifications and user stories
Manage backlog, sprint planning, and delivery cadence
Prioritize initiatives based on ROI and technical feasibility
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer success for launches
Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement
