About The Position

We're looking for a Product Operations Engineer to design, build, and scale the systems that power how we build product. You'll own the operational infrastructure that connects feedback to shipped features - automating the repetitive parts so our product team can focus on what matters. This isn't a traditional "run the meetings and update the spreadsheets" ops role. You'll be building automation, integrating AI into workflows, and creating systems that make a small product team operate like a much larger one. We want someone with a progressive mindset about how product gets built. The old playbook - manual ticket grooming, status update meetings, Jira - doesn't interest us. We're async-first and writing-heavy; if you believe the best operations work is invisible, that automation should handle the tedious stuff, and that small teams can outperform large ones with the right systems, you'll fit right in.

Requirements

  • Built automation using GitHub Actions, webhooks, and APIs to eliminate repetitive product/engineering workflows
  • Worked with Slack APIs or similar to create bots, integrations, or workflow automations
  • Used LLMs/AI tools in production workflows (Claude, GPT, etc.) - not just experimented, actually used to improve team efficiency
  • Designed and implemented product processes at a startup or high-growth company
  • Written scripts and lightweight tooling (Python, JavaScript, bash) - you don't need to be an engineer, but you need to build
  • Shipped automation end-to-end - from identifying the problem to maintaining the solution in production
  • Built dashboards or reports that informed product decisions (Metabase, Looker, Mode, or even Google Sheets)

Nice To Haves

  • You've automated yourself out of a job (and loved it)
  • You think in systems, not tasks
  • You're excited about AI-native workflows, not threatened by them
  • You can ship a working GitHub Action, not just talk about wanting one
  • You've worked in security, developer tools, or enterprise SaaS
  • You get energy from making other people more productive
  • You're self-directed - you figure out what needs doing and don't wait to be told

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain product automation — Own our GitHub Actions ecosystem that auto-creates Slack channels, syncs issues across repos, notifies on launch dates, and keeps our project boards current
  • Evolve our GitHub powered triage system — Improve and extend our feedback triage that detects duplicates, splits compound requests, and auto-labels issues
  • Design scalable processes — Create frameworks for release management, feedback intake, and cross-functional coordination that grow with us
  • Automate meeting artifacts — Turn sync notes into tracked action items, PRs, and issues (yes, using Claude Code)
  • Connect the dots — Ensure tight integration across Product, Engineering, Revenue Operations, and PMM—from feedback intake through shipped releases
  • Surface product insights — Build lightweight reporting that shows feedback trends, release velocity, and what customers are asking for
  • Integrate feedback sources — Extract and route insights from tools like Gong and Salesforce to close the loop on customer feedback

Benefits

  • Compensation & Equity: Competitive salary, clear performance-based incentives, and equity package, making you an integral part of XBOW’s growth story.
  • Career Growth: Significant opportunities to progress within the sales organization and shape your career trajectory as we scale.
  • Meaningful Work: You’ll directly impact XBOW’s mission to revolutionize cybersecurity and protect organizations worldwide.
