About The Position

JSR Micro is seeking a strategic and technically astute Senior Manager of Product Marketing to lead global marketing initiatives for our semiconductor materials portfolio. This includes identifying cutting-edge materials beyond and complementary to lithography, CMP slurries, and advanced packaging applications. The ideal candidate will be a leader with a deep understanding of semiconductor & packaging process flows who can translate technical innovation into customer value and enable product success across the global semiconductor ecosystem. The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical marketing, business development, or product management within the semiconductor ecosystem.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field; MBA preferred but not required.
10+ years of experience in the semiconductor, equipment, or materials industry, with 7+ years in product marketing or strategic marketing leadership.
Strong technical background in advanced materials for semiconductor manufacturing, ideally with experience in lithography, CMP, or packaging.
Proven success launching and scaling high-tech products in global markets, especially in highly technical or regulated environments.
Demonstrated expertise in the full product lifecycle and new product introduction (NPI) process.
Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling, and differentiated product messaging.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills; comfortable interfacing with executives, engineers, and customers alike.
Data-driven decision maker with a deep understanding of how to leverage technical and market intelligence to inform strategy.

Nice To Haves

Experience with advanced packaging adoption, including understanding materials metrics and integration requirements.
Proven ability to grow market share in a competitive, rapidly evolving semiconductor environment.
Experience working in a global matrix organization, ideally with experience of working with global (especially Japan) R&D and business colleagues & groups.

Responsibilities

Define and execute a comprehensive product marketing strategy aligned with business goals and the technology roadmap.
Lead the identification, evaluation, and development of new market opportunities for our semiconductor materials portfolio.
Identify and analyze key industry trends (e.g., macro level: EUV scaling, advanced packaging; micro level: warpage, heat dissipation, etc.) and translate them into actionable marketing and product positioning strategies.
Work with Product Management and R&D to ensure market-aligned roadmaps for materials in FEOL, BEOL, and packaging applications.
Create technical sales enablement content such as competitive playbooks, white papers, technical briefs, and training materials.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify new growth opportunities.
Collaborate closely with JSR Corporate (Japan) marketing and sales teams to connect potential materials markets with our advanced R&D teams.
Work with customers, equipment companies, consortia, and universities to identify everything from next generation trends to potential test vehicles to allow for additional value capture.
Conduct in-depth technical market analysis (e.g., process challenges, yield improvements, material compatibility) to guide roadmap and value proposition refinement.
Represent JSR at key industry events, consortiums, and customer forums as a technical thought leader and product evangelist.
Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across the global semiconductor ecosystem (fabless, equipment suppliers, universities, etc.)
Foster a culture of innovation, execution excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.
