About The Position

The Developer Audience Marketing team is looking for an experienced, passionate and collaborative Product Marketing Manager to help provide both strategic and operational management of our Reactor AMER program. In collaboration with several teams including the Sr Dev Audience PMM for Reactors, Cloud + AI Technical Marketing, GitHub Marketing, Microsoft and GitHub Advocacy teams, Integrated Marketing, and regional CMOs, this individual will be responsible for planning and ensuring the long-term vision of the Reactor AMER program and development of a virtual, onsite and hybrid event strategy for both internal and external users. In addition, they will oversee the execution of day-to-day activities and will manage our AMER site-specific vendor team. The position requires a dynamic person to work closely and effectively across a diverse group of stakeholders within the organization and with many different teams to help organize, plan and execute operational excellence within Reactor space. It is a fast-paced role that will engage with highly senior level positions within the company and with our partners and the community. This position will represent Microsoft and the Reactor to strengthen and deepen our relationship within local, 3rd party tech communities and the startup ecosystem. They will truly be an evangelist for our Reactor and the events and programs that will take place within the Reactor locations across the Americas. This is a unique opportunity to work as part of an energetic and dedicated team and provides a front row seat in an exciting group which is in growth mode as we redesign how Microsoft engages with the developer community.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 1+ year(s) experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 2+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience in program management, event management, or marketing operations
  • Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment engaging with senior leadership
  • Experience with developer community engagement
  • Background in technical marketing or developer relations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and/or GitHub ecosystem
