About The Position

PayPal is seeking a highly motivated MBA intern to join our B2B Product Marketing team for the summer. This role will work on high-impact strategic and go-to-market initiatives across our SMB, Mid-Market, and Enterprise segments, partnering closely with Product, Sales, Commercial, and Marketing. This is a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of product strategy, go-to-market execution, and customer insight within a global fintech leader. The intern will own a clearly defined, high-impact project from problem definition through recommendation and execution.

Requirements

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to quickly understand business models, revenue drivers, and strategic trade-offs
  • Structured problem-solving skills and comfort operating in ambiguous environments
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities, including desktop research and synthesis of qualitative and quantitative inputs
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to independently drive a workstream and manage timelines
  • Exceptional storytelling and writing skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, executive-ready materials
  • Executive presence and comfort presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Ability to influence cross-functional partners without direct authority
  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program, graduating in wintern 2026 or spring 2027
  • 3–6+ years of pre-MBA professional experience
  • Proven track record of high performance in prior roles

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in consulting, strategy, product management, marketing, fintech, or technology
  • Experience building business cases or go-to-market strategies
  • Exposure to B2B business models

Responsibilities

  • Conducting market, customer, and competitive research to inform B2B product and go-to-market strategy
  • Developing segmentation, positioning, and messaging frameworks
  • Supporting go-to-market planning for upcoming product launches, including defining target audiences, and value propositions
  • Creating sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, competitive battle cards, and messaging guides that translate product capabilities into clear, differentiated customer narratives
  • Partnering cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Enablement, and Marketing to ensure alignment from strategy through execution
