About the Role Acquia is seeking a technical, creative, and community-driven Product Marketing Manager to join our Product Marketing team. This isn't your standard PMM role; you will be the voice and face of Drupal and the new Drupal AI ecosystem. You are someone who lives and breathes the Drupal community, understands the technical elegance of the Cloud Platform, and can translate complex AI capabilities into compelling stories that inspire developers and digital marketers alike. Your mission is to drive the adoption of Drupal AI across our global customer base while strengthening Acquia’s leadership within the Open Source community.

Requirements

  • Deep Drupal Expertise: You don't just know what Drupal is; you’ve built with it. You understand the hooks, the architecture, and the community dynamics.
  • AI Fluency: A strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and how AI can be integrated into CMS workflows to enhance the creator experience.
  • Project & Launch Management: Proven ability to manage complex launch timelines and coordinate cross-functional advocacy efforts.
  • Content Portfolio: Proven experience creating technical marketing assets (please be prepared to share samples of blogs, videos, or guides).
  • Public Speaking: Comfortable and charismatic on stage. You have a track record of presenting at tech conferences or hosting webinars.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to map technical features to business value, helping customers understand why they need to migrate to the latest version of Drupal or adopt AI.

Nice To Haves

  • Active contributions to Drupal.org (code, documentation, or community organizing).
  • Experience with Acquia Cloud Platform
  • Background in technical sales or solutions architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Community Evangelism & Advocacy: Act as a key representative of Acquia at DrupalCamps and DrupalCons. You will be responsible for submitting session abstracts, delivering keynote-quality presentations, and organizing community advocacy programs that align with new feature launches.
  • Product Launch & Adoption: Partner with the Product Management team to understand the roadmap and execute GTM strategies specifically aimed at increasing the footprint of AI tools within our existing customer base.
  • Drupal Launch Sentinel & Architect: Keep a constant pulse on the Drupal core and "Starshot" (Drupal CMS) roadmaps. You will be the primary lead for planning and executing marketing advocacy around key releases (e.g., Drupal 12, major minor versions, and AI module milestones).
  • Content Powerhouse: Research, write, and produce high-impact technical content, including deep-dive blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, and "how-to" guides that showcase the power of Drupal AI.
  • Visual Storytelling: Create and own the library of demo videos and technical walkthroughs that simplify the Drupal Cloud experience.
  • Revenue Marketing Partnership: Collaborate with the Revenue Marketing team to fuel the lead-generation engine with high-quality content, ensuring our sales teams have the collateral they need to win.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the internal "pulse" of the Drupal community, keeping the marketing and product teams informed on latest trends, modules, and sentiment.
