About The Position

Eaton’s Distributed IT (D-IT) division is currently seeking a Product Marketing Communications Lead. This role can be based out of Moontownship PA, Cleveland OH, Raleigh NC or Woodridge IL. The Product MarCom Manager (PMCM), D-IT Data Center White Space plays a crucial role in supporting the growth goals in the data center white space by creating engaging, informative and educational product content, and product launch communications. This position is responsible for developing and executing the product MarCom strategy, ensuring a positive digital user experience and providing compelling solutions and capability messaging to be promoted across various platforms including Eaton.com, segment campaigns and events. Key to success is the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with divisional marketing and sales teams as well as develop a deep understanding of the products/services and the value they provide to customers. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Three (3) - five (5) years of experience in marketing communications
  • No relocation is being offered for this role. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Woodridge, IL will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area.

  • Marketing communications and product launch communications expertise
  • Electrical product, market and channel knowledge
  • Aptitude for understanding and explaining highly technical information
  • Aptitude for learning and adopting tools in the martech stack
  • Adept at analyzing digital marketing data
  • Experience with digital marketing, content marketing, SEO and analytics

Nice To Haves

  • Educational focus in engineering or marketing
  • 8 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the technology, data center, or industrial solutions space.
  • Experience with a web development platform (AEM preferred) and a marketing automation platform (Eloqua preferred)
  • Scrum experience

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Marketing Communications leadership and Distributed IT and Critical Power Systems product marketing and sales teams to develop a results-driven MarCom plan with clear objectives, metrics, budgets and schedules
  • Proficiently use the OneLaunch process within PROLaunch to ensure on-time, effective launch communications
  • Produce effective messaging, value propositions and content for product launches and other product marketing assets
  • Apply Agile methodologies to product content development, ensuring on-time delivery, quality and performance of product content, and aligning MarCom strategies with business goals
  • Ensure products are properly represented in segment campaigns, events and customer-focused initiatives, which may include key named accounts, sales agents, consultants and contractors
  • Ensure product content is properly represented on Eaton.com
  • Implement proper search strategies by collaborating with SEO team to optimize pages for search engine results page rankings
  • Leverage dashboards to analyze/report metrics and make informed decisions to continually improve results
  • Collaborate with channel marketing teams and Canada and LATAM teams to share and receive product content
  • Proficiently use the tools in the MarCom tech stack, including Percolate and AEM
  • Understand all aspects of Eaton’s brand promise, attributes and standards, and accurately represent Eaton in written and verbal communications to position Eaton as a leading power management company
  • Effectively manage budget allocations; provide accurate forecasts; process, track and reconcile supplier invoices
