About The Position
As a Product Manager at Molex, you will be responsible for managing the entire product life cycle of our product portfolio, from inception to end of life. This role requires close collaboration with customers, sales teams, and engineering departments to ensure that our product development aligns with customer expectations and market demands. You will play a crucial role in tailoring product and marketing efforts to support Molex's overall mission, strategy, and goals. In this position, you will develop and implement strategic product and annual business plans targeting specific markets, industries, and customers. You will identify product line trends and technologies, leading long-term product planning to increase revenue and market share of assigned product lines in support of divisional and global objectives. Additionally, you will focus on improving the profitability of these product lines by leading cost reduction activities, exploring new technologies, and implementing quality improvements. Your responsibilities will also include tracking capacity and driving capital investments to support forecasted demand, reviewing and approving price requests, maintaining the pricing system, and developing pricing strategies for assigned product lines. You will participate in global negotiations with key customers and manage new product development activities to extend and grow the life of assigned product lines. Furthermore, you will identify opportunities to establish and develop industry partner relationships, while supporting and contributing to Molex's Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, ISO, and Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by adhering to stated policies and procedures. This role may also involve performing other related duties as assigned by management, making it a dynamic and integral part of our Copper Solutions team responsible for producing high-speed datacom and telecom solutions.
