About The Position

The Senior Product Manager at FloLogic will hold primary ownership of FloLogic’s leak detection portfolio as it relates to its relevance in revenue size and profitability to Bradford White. In this role, the Senior Product Manager will understand industry competitive space and customer needs, and generate cohesive product strategies and roadmaps to grow the business. The Senior Product Manager will work closely with the Engineering, Sales, Marketing, supplier partners, our components manufacturers, and the Executive team to present feasible business opportunities, bring differentiated products to the market, and grow customer demand. Lastly, this position will assist internal and external customers with product expertise and launch new products to market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Certification(s) in Business, Marketing, Engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical background and/or high mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • High level of financial acumen.
  • Ability to form and facilitate both internal and external coalitions in the execution of successful teams
  • High level of curiosity
  • Comfort in working with individuals in and out of the company at all levels
  • Maintain confidentiality when required

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred.
  • Product related experience in the connected/IoT, plumbing and HVAC industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Establish long-term product strategies and define the areas of priority in product roadmaps.
  • Actively work with the Director of Engineering and team to manage the implementation of the product roadmap.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales team, customers, and internal functions to deliver new/improved products to market that will grow the FloLogic portfolio revenue and grow margin.
  • In partnership with the General Manager and Operations Manager, develop and lead the strategic relationships with our OEM supplier partners involved in the portfolio.
  • Work alongside Marketing and Sales to develop and lead product launches, and monitoring, analyzing, and reporting first year results and recommended course corrections on a monthly basis.
  • Help prepare and maintain training material for internal and external customers.
  • Communicate with internal and external marketing resources regarding the development and maintenance of product marketing and sales strategies.
  • Working with sales, monitor and model key financial aspects and competitive positions of the portfolio and recommend product and pricing actions to grow the revenue and gross margin of the portfolio.
  • Conduct product market research by visiting insurers, reps, wholesalers, and customers and prospective customers.
  • Prepare product competitor analyses and product playbooks (including product features, pricing, and positioning analysis)
  • Understand regulatory requirements that are germane to leak detection and connected products.
