About The Position

Lucra is a company at the intersection of loyalty, competition, and technology, having recently closed its Series B funding and ready to scale. They are seeking a Product Manager who can own a product area end-to-end and is comfortable exploring uncharted territory. This role involves being deeply embedded in the core product while also identifying and pursuing new opportunities. The ideal candidate will be equally adept at refining existing products and building new ones. Lucra is building a new category, and this role offers significant latitude, resources, and a seat at the table from day one, focusing on exploratory, high-leverage work.

Requirements

  • Independently Driven: Energized by figuring out the right problems to solve, not just executing against a list.
  • Sharp and Structured: Ability to handle ambiguous, complex problems and deliver crisp, actionable solutions with clear documentation and organized thinking.
  • Experimentally Minded: Strong instincts validated through learning before building, understanding the difference between signal and noise.
  • Low Ego, High Ownership: Cares about the outcome, willing to roll up sleeves and do less glamorous work to move things forward.
  • Experience: 4+ years in a product management role, with at least some portion of that time spent on 0-to-1 or exploratory product work, not just roadmap execution.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to identify and frame new opportunities, not just manage existing ones, with the ability to zoom out and zoom in.
  • Analytical Chops: Comfortable working with data to define hypotheses, set up experiments, and draw actionable conclusions, with familiarity around a dashboard.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communicator, capable of writing sharp one-pagers, running tight discovery sessions, and presenting clearly to leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in consumer apps in gaming, fintech, loyalty, or sports.
  • Background working in or alongside a business development or partnerships function.
  • Familiarity with the paid skill gaming or competitive gaming space.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep, working knowledge of the Lucra platform across all surfaces, understanding connections, friction points, and user needs, serving as a go-to person for context.
  • Own meaningful pieces of the core product roadmap, including areas like compliance and in-game features, working closely with Design and Engineering to ship high-quality improvements that benefit users and the business.
  • Help shape and support product work that enables strong partner relationships, understanding how the platform adapts to different use cases and client needs.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities, including ancillary products, experimental features, and strategic bets, moving quickly from hypothesis to test to decision, and knowing when to advance or cut losses.
