About The Position

Product Manager, Parallels Desktop B2B Focus Parallels has an immediate vacancy for this role. Push the boundaries of tech. In your sweatpants. We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to help us change the way the world works, with anytime, anywhere, any-device productivity. Here, you’ll work on two critical pillars of the product: the backend services that power Parallels Desktop under the hood, and the enterprise-facing experience that helps IT administrators and organizations deploy and manage Parallels at scale. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of infrastructure reliability and B2B product growth. You'll work closely with engineering, QA, and other product managers to define what gets built, why it matters, and how it reaches customers. The top creative and technical minds could work anywhere. So why are so many of them choosing Parallels? Here are three reasons: 1. This is the moment. It’s an exciting time at Parallels, with strong leadership, a refreshed brand, and a whole new approach to changing the way the world works. We’re at the forefront of a movement, and we want you to ride this wave with us. 2. We want you to be you. Too often, companies tell you about their culture and then expect you to fit it. Our culture is built from the people who work here. We want you to feel safe to be who you are, take risks, and show us what you’ve got. 3. It’s your world. We know you have a life. We want to be part of it, but not all of it. At Parallels, we’re serious about empowering people to work when, how, and where they want. Couch? Sweatpants? Cool with us. We believe that happy employees mean happy customers. That’s why we hire amazing people and get out of their way. Sound good so far? Awesome. Let’s talk more about the Product Manager role and see if we’re destined to be together.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of product management experience, ideally with exposure to backend systems, platform services, or developer/IT-facing products.
  • Solid understanding of B2B/enterprise software dynamics — you know how IT buyers think, understand the thinking behind admin’s persona, and why admin tooling matters.
  • Technical fluency — you don't need to write code, but you're comfortable discussing APIs, service architecture, and infrastructure tradeoffs with engineering teams.
  • Strong written communication skills — from crisp user stories to clear stakeholder updates, you know how to write for different audiences.
  • Data-driven mindset — you form hypotheses, define metrics, and update your views based on evidence.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity — you can set direction in areas that aren't fully defined and make progress without waiting for perfect information.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the macOS ecosystem, virtualization, or cross-platform software.
  • Familiarity with enterprise deployment tools (MDM, SCCM, Jamf, etc.).
  • Background in IdP management, SaaS subscription models and licensing infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for Parallels Desktop backend services — including identity, licensing, activation, update delivery, service reliability, integration with external services — with a particular focus on how these systems support enterprise deployments.
  • Support the Principal PM for Parallels Desktop for Enterprise in executing the enterprise product strategy, taking ownership of frontend and backend-related workstreams and translating enterprise requirements into infrastructure-level solutions.
  • Bridge backend and enterprise needs — identifying where service-layer capabilities (e.g., provisioning, policy enforcement, update management) can unlock new value for IT administrators and large-scale deployments.
  • Write clear, actionable requirements — user stories, acceptance criteria, and PRDs that give engineering teams what they need to ship with confidence.
  • Define and track key product metrics — from backend service health and uptime to enterprise deployment success — and use data to inform priorities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, QA, design, support, and marketing to bring features from concept to launch.

Benefits

  • We offer a fully remote workspace. There is no pressure to work in an office whatsoever.
  • Hours are flexible, too! You’ve worked hard to build your life, and we don’t want you to give it up for work.
