Plays a critical role and is responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in the development of health insurance products. Leads from product conception to launch and manages the product portfolio for continued success in the commercial employer market. Works closely with cross-functional teams to grow existing products and bring new innovative products to market, requiring this individual to build collaborative relationships with all levels of staff, and across Sutter Health departments. Day-to-day activities include business model development and market analyses; evaluating and implementing new laws and regulations from the Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC) related to product design and benefits, business planning and modeling; product lifecycle management; and go-to-market strategies for external engagement.
