The best run DevOps teams in the world choose Perforce. Position Summary: Our Senior Director, Product Manager for Gliffy at Perforce is searching for a Product Manager to join the team. The Product Manager at Perforce will identify the market need through performing research and collecting data from a series of stakeholders (internal/external). The Product Manager will connect the business outcomes, customer outcomes, strategy and technical plans via a product roadmap. They must be grounded in customer needs and steeped in technology to be able to understand and influence the User Experience and Engineering community, while at the same time being aware of the business and go-to-market strategies. This position will support our Gliffy brand. With over 18 million users, Gliffy is the leading diagramming app for teams using Atlassian’s Jira and Confluence products. Gliffy makes it easy to draw diagrams of all types, from basic flowcharts to complex software architectures.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a product management or similar position
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Deep experience with the Atlassian Ecosystems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in English.
  • The ability to gather, analyze and confidently present relevant data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Deep comfort with technical systems.
  • The ability to work cross-functionally as a team member and influencer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the product strategy informed by customer and market insights, competitive analysis, technical capability, and internal initiatives/assets.
  • In collaboration with Engineering, define the product roadmap.
  • Evolve the product roadmap based on the research.
  • Lead and manage the full product lifecycle, market analysis, requirements definition, delivery and testing, education, internal business readiness and customer deployment.
  • Gather and analyse data sets - including market, customer and product data.
  • Perform In-depth market competitive analysis, gather customer insights to develop product and competitive positioning.
  • Own competitive intelligence and translate insights into product direction.
  • Deeply understand user needs for diagramming within Atlassian workflows.
  • Develop deep understanding of Atlassian APIs, Forge/Connect frameworks, Confluence capabilities, etc.
  • May be required to support additional products/brands as needed.
