About The Position

The Product Manager for the Company is a pivotal role responsible for the strategic growth and management of Agronomic product lines catering specifically to the Company's Business Customers. This role demands a seasoned professional with extensive Agronomics knowledge, tasked with creating robust product structures, optimizing pricing strategies, and driving sales promotions through effective collaboration with vendors, all aimed at delivering unparalleled customer service. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in basic sales practices and branch operations to foster customer relationships and enhance brand presence, while ensuring alignment with the Company's commitment to nurturing exceptional team environments and enduring company values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agronomy, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in product management within the agronomics or landscape industry.
  • Proven knowledge and understanding of agronomic products and industry trends.
  • Strong proficiency in developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth and customer engagement.
  • Experience collaborating with vendors to facilitate sales promotions and market programs.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the capability to foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Competency in data analysis to monitor and establish competitive pricing for agronomic products.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively support branch operations while ensuring superior customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic development and structuring of Agronomic business lines to enhance market presence and profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze Agronomic pricing trends to ensure competitive positioning and maximize revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with vendors to design and implement effective sales promotions and programs that drive market engagement.
  • Spearhead product stocking initiatives and create compelling product displays across various locations to optimize customer experience and sales.
  • Drive product innovation and adoption by actively learning and promoting new offerings to customers and internal teams.
  • Provide exceptional support to branch operations, ensuring the delivery of superior customer service and operational excellence in alignment with market standards.
  • Integrate basic sales practices and strategies to effectively engage with employees and customers, facilitating a customer-centric sales approach.
  • Maintain professional driving standards, demonstrating responsibility and reliability in logistical aspects of the role.
