About The Position

The Product Manager is responsible for conducting product and competitor research, analysis delivering market justification for developing new products or product enhancements and extensions to the existing products and product lines. This position influences products, from cradle to grave including but not limited to product analysis, concept development, justification, prototyping, costing, pricing, developing sales tools and product releases with consistent evaluation throughout the product’s life cycle. The Product Manager works closely with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and the manufacturing departments to identify the product value proposition for the A&D community, contractors, and specifiers. The product manager will work closely with the Sales, Purchasing, and Engineering department in developing, implementing and maintaining seamless operations cycles for Fry Reglet’s Distributed Products division. This role may be based in either Alpharetta, GA or Santa Fe Springs, CA, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and business requirements.

Requirements

  • End-to-end product lifecycle ownership with a focus on order, transparency, and execution.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work independently.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Mechanically inclined with strong judgment around product safety, functionality, and appearance.
  • Analytical and innovative mindset—able to improve existing processes while exploring new approaches.
  • Comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Atlas, NAV 365, Business Central preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Industrial Design, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of Product Management experience with a proven record of successful product delivery.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment; commercial construction exposure preferred.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD required; Autodesk Inventor and parametric modeling experience preferred.
  • Solid understanding of process flow, feasibility evaluation, and commercial construction standards.
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Repeat the same movements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with aluminum products, extrusion processes, and architectural building materials is a plus.
  • Experience working with architects, designers, and contractors on product solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Own and advance the product roadmap, including lifecycle management of existing products and launch of new offerings.
  • Conduct product, materials, and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and enhancements.
  • Manage vendor relationships, collaborating closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to support product development and optimization.
  • Lead product ideation with consideration for manufacturing feasibility, application requirements, and functional performance.
  • Identify and implement improvements to the product lifecycle through clear, streamlined enhancement plans.
  • Contribute to production planning, pricing strategy, and go-to-market execution.
  • Develop and maintain product documentation, technical specifications, and testing resources.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams on customer communication, product education, technical support, and development of sales and marketing collateral.
