In this context we are looking for a Product Manager to join our team in Herndon, Virginia. We are seeking a Product Manager to oversee the lifecycle of our A220 & Non-A/C Specific Tools & GSE (Ground Support Equipment) portfolios. This role is unique in its blend of technical product oversight and commercial contract management. You will be responsible for maintaining the product lifecycle for specialized aviation tools and managing the complex contracts with OEMs, airlines, and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facilities.

Requirements

  • A degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or Aerospace; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 6+ years in Product Management or Contract Management within the Aerospace or Defense sectors
  • Proficiency in handling long-term procurement contracts, indemnity clauses, and international shipping terms (Incoterms)
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software
  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance operations, Ground Support Equipment (GSE), or precision engineering.
  • Ability to translate "Engineering speak" into "Contract speak" for executive stakeholders
  • Able to work in US without current or future need for visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Contract Negotiation & Oversight: Draft and manage technical service agreements, distribution contracts, and supply chain agreements with aerospace OEMs in collaboration with our relevant Procurement departments.
  • SLA Management: Define and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for tool manufacturing. Secure performance management of our suppliers with the relevant supply chain stakeholders and recovery plans where required
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the process for aircraft tooling products from concept and engineering to market launch and end-of-life.
  • Vendor & OEM Relations: Act as the primary liaison between engineering and external legal/procurement teams to ensure "Right to Repair" and intellectual property clauses are protected.
  • Forecasting & Pipeline Analytics: Use data to provide monthly accuracy in sales forecasting, impacting production scheduling and inventory levels
  • Business Case Development: Develop data-driven proposals for exceptional stock investments for Sales and Lease stock, considering market trends and activity
