About The Position

Odyssey partners with state agencies to design, launch, and operate Education Savings Account (ESA) and grant programs, providing technology, program operations, a vendor ecosystem, and family experience. These programs put education funding directly into the hands of families, allowing them to choose learning experiences for their children. Odyssey's platform currently operates across 6 states, serving over 200,000 students and managing over $1B in education funding, including the recent launch of the Texas Education Savings Account (EFA) program. The company is backed by investors like a16z and Tusk Venture Partners and operates at the intersection of GovTech, EdTech, and FinTech, building civic infrastructure. The work involves turning ambiguous policy into real systems that families depend on, requiring the building of a flexible platform that meets various state configuration needs. Odyssey is hiring Product Managers (Senior or Lead level) to scale its platform as it expands into new states and deepens impact. These roles are split across two product squads: Parent & School Experience (focused on external user journeys for families and education providers) and Growth & Program Operations (focused on internal platform capabilities for program configuration, financial workflows, and compliance). Product Managers will operate with a high degree of ownership and autonomy, translating policy and operational requirements into scalable, configurable software systems.
