About The Position

The Product Manager will be part of the Client's Platform team, playing a pivotal role in shaping and scaling Client's sitewide capabilities. This position involves driving key experiences and services that are foundational across the websites, including global navigation, web product integrations, and other sitewide components and services. The Product Manager will build business cases clearly stating the impact and value of proposed initiatives, discover, validate, and document requirements, and work with Experience Designers on customer journeys, UX flows, and product. Additionally, the role requires transforming requirements into feature specs/user stories, proactively managing cross-system dependencies, participating in planning and vision refinement sessions, and addressing ambiguity and change in the product backlog. The Product Manager will work closely with engineering teams through the release cycle and present convincingly to executives, partners, and users/customers. Staying on top of industry trends and providing recommendations on emerging technology trends to optimize user experience and operational efficiencies is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in conceptualizing, defining, building, and releasing products within web/mobile ecosystems.
  • Strong grasp of web technologies.
  • Experience with front-end development (Javascript/HTML/CSS) and integrating 3rd-party vendor solutions.
  • Understanding of front-, back-end, and data integrations using APIs.
  • Proficient in outlining product requirements, drafting functional specs, and creating user stories.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Results oriented with attention to detail.
  • Highly analytical with a focus on utilizing data to steer decisions.
  • Skilled at fostering positive relationships across various functions.
  • Enthusiastic about acquiring new knowledge and staying abreast of industry and technology trends.

  • Hybrid schedule in San Jose, CA (3 days a week onsite required).
