About The Position

As a Product Manager for UB Media, Ulta Beauty's Retail Media Network, you will serve as a key leader on a growing internal media team focused on building our UB Media business. The Product Manager is responsible for the value delivery of products that continuously and sustainably solves the needs of its users. You will build strong, critical relationships with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the product roadmap delivers set vision with established metrics with alignment to the overall enterprise digital strategy. This role will support the development and execution of the strategy for a portfolio of products and partner cross-functionally to ideate, create, and align on guest experiences and business goals across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the digital advertising landscape, particularly within retail media, and a proven track record of building and launching successful products. Reporting to the Director, IT Product, UB Media, you will be responsible for leading a talented team and collaborating with internal cross-functional partners to drive business growth through UB Media products, features, and campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field required.
  • 7+ years relevant work experience with at least 4+ years in a digital product role and at least 2 years of people management experience.
  • Retail Media experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the retail eCommerce industry operating in an agile (scrum) environment.
  • Experience in digital advertising ecosystems strongly preferred.
  • Experience successfully creating and executing against product visions, strategies, and roadmaps that achieve goals and outcomes.
  • Exceptional at working with (and analyzing) user metrics and turning them into actionable insights, including the use of A/B testing and analytics platforms.
  • Experience in managing geographically distributed teams preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills and the proven ability to drive organizational change.
  • Strong communication skills with experience aligning the organization on complex decisions.
  • Active coach/mentor whose goals are to grow and maximize the team's potential.
  • Curious and highly motivated self-starter who can work effectively across cross-functional teams & independently drive progress through ambiguity.
  • Excellent project management skills with experience managing complexity across multiple initiatives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with frequent optimizations and highly skilled in prioritization with a strong attention to detail.
  • Up to date knowledge about the latest trends, innovations and best practices in digital advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall product vision and metrics (e.g., objectives & key results (OKRs) fulfillment of the products and features being delivered
  • Partner with the UB Media strategy team to create scalable advertising solutions across programmatic, onsite, social and digital in-store.
  • Collaborate with sales & account management to align product offerings with client needs
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to build a shared digital vision across the enterprise by building a product roadmap aligned with the enterprise go-to-market strategy
  • Manage a team of multiple Product Owners & Product Analysts jointly focused on the delivery of a product roadmap for a segment of the overall digital guest journey
  • Create and maintain a prioritized roadmap for the product(s) of assigned responsibility
  • Work with cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, and strategic analysts to deliver digital experiences that meet the needs of both the end users.
  • Prepare and support the agile teams on topics and structure for product demos
  • Contribute to the overall success and lifecycle of the product through all phases from initial design & definition through go-to-market activities & post launch analytics.
