About the Team The Workday on Workday product team mission is to champion business and customer success through Workday technology. About the Role The Talent Acquisition (TA) Product Manager will deeply understand our users' needs and engagement with our products and balance that knowledge with our services, finance, legal, and privacy constraints. Finally, the product manager is encouraged to keep informed of Talent Acquisition and Recruiting industry trends and the technology landscape and leverage these inputs to define a product vision, strategy and roadmap.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience working on technology-powered products as a product manager, product designer or user researcher.
  • 5+ years demonstrated ability in collecting, synthesizing, and prioritizing user input from multiple sources (users, leaders, competitors, market factors, partners, engineering, management, etc.).
  • Functional experience managing talent experiences in both talent acquisition and talent engagement.
  • Experience managing strategy for the Talent technology landscape.
  • Experience with Workday product capabilities and industry standards for designing best in class experiences.
  • Demonstrated understanding of modern product discovery and product delivery techniques and methods.
  • Strong ability to understand and interpret data to develop a hypothesis and define experiments to prove (or disprove).
  • Ability to identify solutions to hard problems with many constraints, assess risks, and lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
  • Proven ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, strategy, etc.
  • Proven track record of engaging with engineers, architects, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
  • Open to 50% office reporting structure in our Atlanta office.

  • You understand that consistent innovation is the result of each member of the team sharing their ideas. This role collaborates with our business partners, product team, designers, and architects to discover the most impactful solutions, and then work together to deliver those solutions.
  • You are someone who can operate as a designer, of both business process and technical requirements, and a product manager to ensure implemented solutions deliver exciting experiences.
  • You will be responsible for driving large cross-functional initiatives and implementations that enable us to create amazing experiences for our Workmates-to help us achieve our goal of accelerating Workday’s business growth.
  • We look for product managers who are not afraid of signing up for results, even when this means they have to work through others to achieve results.
  • This job is an individual contributor role and often needs to take a data driven approach to influence without authority including colleagues, business partners, and key executives.
