About The Position

Vanguard is hiring two Product Managers. Product Manager – Dallas, TX Vanguard is hiring a Product Manager focused on personalized asset allocation strategies. This role will play a key part in shaping the evolution of glide path construction through close partnership with our methodology, data science, and machine learning engineering teams. Given the strategic importance of personalization in our advice experience, this role will require strong product judgment and the ability to operate effectively within a highly centralized and interconnected product ecosystem. An ideal candidate will bring: Product Fundamentals – A strong grounding in core product management practices, including problem definition, prioritization, roadmap development, and delivery in close partnership with engineering and analytics teams. Investment Acumen – A solid understanding of investment concepts, asset allocation frameworks, and how portfolio design decisions impact end investors. Dealing with Ambiguity – This role operates in a complex space that spans multiple platforms and advice experiences. The ideal candidate will be comfortable navigating ambiguity, synthesizing inputs from many partners, and defining clear paths forward. Product Manager – Charlotte, NC Vanguard is hiring a Product Manager to own key products that enable our Daily Portfolio Management capabilities. This role will focus on platforms and services that support rebalancing, monitoring, and operational execution at scale. This position sits at the intersection of product, operations, and investment execution, and will be critical to ensuring our portfolio management capabilities are reliable, scalable, and effective. An ideal candidate will bring: Stakeholder Management – Strong ability to partner with product teams, technology, operations, and advice stakeholders to deliver capabilities that support day‑to-day portfolio management. Operational Mindset – An appreciation for the mechanics and realities of portfolio management, including the importance of accuracy, timeliness, and execution quality. Dealing with Complexity – Comfort operating in a space with many dependencies and downstream impacts, and the ability to manage tradeoffs while keeping delivery on track. Communication Skills – Ability to provide clear updates, surface risks and issues early, and align diverse stakeholders around priorities and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years’ related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of managing a project preferred.
  • Financial Services or function-specific experience preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management, investment/portfolio construction acumen needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provides digital product management services on a digital product, applying functional expertise to improve digital product results.
  • Collaborates with small cross-functional teams to demonstrate best practices that drive significant change to the client experience.
  • Coaches digital product teams towards best practices and learnings.
  • Ensures delivery of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
  • Partners with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner, and supports/drives escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.
  • Leads the planning, development and implementation of a new digital product.
  • Defines and analyzes markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
  • Employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
  • Participates in and provides recommendations for ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
