Product Manager - Security
About The Position
Resideo's Products & Solutions business is currently seeking a Product Manager to support our security product portfolio. The Product Manager will be responsible for operational excellence through ongoing portfolio maintenance and support, supporting NPI introductions and beta programs, contributing to branding efforts, and providing general product management function support. This role will be key in supporting product development strategies and driving day-to-day activities to ensure the continued success of Resideo's security products. As the role evolves, there will be opportunities to take ownership of specific product lines and to develop expertise across a diverse range of security solutions. This position reports to the Director of Product Management for Security.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of product management or product support experience, preferably in the security or manufacturing industries
- Experience with NPI and O&M development, support, and maintenance
- Proven ability to support product and partnership development efforts

Responsibilities
- Product category ownership and management – Manages the entire product portfolio through the lifecycle curve, demonstrating cross-functional management in marketing, sales, engineering, and ISC; deploy portfolio optimization tactics to drive simplification; ability to perform market research / VOC and execute new product development from ideation to product launch.
- Category financial ownership – Manages value propositions, pricing, product mix, and cost economics to drive revenue growth and gross margin expansion across assigned product category; is able to build business cases and leverage analytics to drive decisions and actions.
- Strategy and growth planning – Develops a vision and strategic plan for the product portfolio, in alignment with the overall Resideo strategy, that enables faster than market growth rates.
- Market orientation – Lives in the "field of play", understanding customer needs, competition dynamics, and market trends that inform business decisions; display a desire to win.
- Growth Opportunity: Take advantage of learning and development opportunities, gaining exposure to a wide range of security products and expanding responsibilities to manage multiple product lines.
