About The Position

As a Product Manager focused on optimization, you will play a critical role in enhancing workflows, optimizing product features, and improving customer experiences to expand access to credit and promote financial stability for underserved consumers. You will actively participate in all stages of the product lifecycle - from ideation to post-launch iteration - working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet customer needs and align with Atlanticus' mission to empower consumers and support sustainable business growth. This role emphasizes analyzing current processes, implementing impactful optimizations, and delivering measurable results that support both customers and business objectives.

Requirements

  • ~3 years of experience in product management, preferably with a focus on consumer lending or fintech products.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify areas for improvement within product workflows.
  • Proficiency in product management tools and strong product design literacy.
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Passionate about understanding customer needs and creating impactful products.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing workflows, product features, and customer experiences.
  • Leverage data analysis, user insights, and feedback to implement iterative updates that improve efficiency, usability, and performance.
  • Contribute to defining and driving the product vision and strategy for consumer lending products.
  • Develop product specifications for new products and enhancements to existing features.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments.
  • Assist in developing and executing the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of product features and enhancements.
  • Understand customers deeply to better serve their financial challenges.
  • Partner with teams across various departments to ensure seamless product development and launch.
  • Define success metrics for products and features; monitor and analyze performance data.
  • Conduct user testing sessions, gather feedback, and iterate on product features to enhance user experience.
  • Oversee the go-to-market strategy and drive post-launch evaluations.
