The Product Manager of R&D FIEET Operations at Pfizer Digital is a critical role responsible for defining the R&D FIEET processes for managing the portfolio and team communications. This role will develop and maintain strong partnerships with product managers and the R&D creation center to ensure that the portfolio is effectively managed and communicated. In addition, this role will support the R&D FIEET LT in shifting the R&D FIEET team to a strategic Thinking & Innovation and Speed‑to‑Value organization leveraging product management principles. Strong user experience, technical acumen, and effective communication skills are critical in this role. This includes creating and delivering process maps, executive level portfolio communications and operational materials to support the LT. The successful candidate for this role will have a deep expertise in process management and culture change activities within a technical environment with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions in a complex organizational environment. Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

Requirements

  • A curious and highly motivated self-starter who can work effectively across cross-functional teams and can independently drive progress toward completion with proper planning and management
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline and 6+ years of experience or Master's degree and 5+ years of experience.
  • Ability to manage transformation of ideas into solution recommendations and delivery across multiple workstreams
  • Familiarity with reviewing and creating logical and conceptual data models
  • Proven track record of facilitating decision making processes, including leadership presentations
  • Experience in product design and data & analytics
  • Demonstrated success in effectively communicating business value of data related efforts
  • Experience leading stakeholder engagement, building partnerships and collaboration across divers business teams and facilitating the process of defining project goals and requirements
  • S trong communication with great written and verbal skills

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of design and/or analysis experience, with pharmaceutical or healthcare experience a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize operational processes to ensure effective governance and execution of the R&D FIEET AI and data-driven digital products portfolio.
  • Partner with the leadership team to define, communicate, and implement a unified vision and strategy for the organization, emphasizing agility, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination for cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment and collaboration across product, engineering, and business teams.
  • Drive operational excellence by establishing and monitoring key performance indicators, facilitating regular business reviews, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Lead strategic communications for the R&D FIEET leadership team, including executive updates, portfolio reviews, and change management initiatives.
  • Champion a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making, supporting the adoption of best practices in user research, analytics, and iterative delivery.
  • Support organizational transformation and culture change efforts, acting as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and a catalyst for new ways of working.
  • Foster a resilient, high-performing team environment that embraces ambiguity, adapts quickly to change, and consistently delivers results under tight timelines.
