Position Description: The Product Manager, North America is a strategic role responsible for the end-to-end management of a product portfolio within the North American market. As the portfolio owner for their category, this manager will drive market positioning, innovation road mapping, launch management, and lifecycle management. This role sits within Blueair's Product Marketing (PROM) team and works closely with the Senior Product Manager, North America alongside Innovation Managers, Sales, Trade Marketing, and Global cross-functional partners to land winning product strategies in market. We believe that we’re better together. Our team is hybrid and requires applicants to live commuting distance from our Chicago Loop location and be in-office Tuesday-Thursday. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in product marketing or product management in a B2C environment, preferably within consumer durables or CPG categories.
  • Demonstrated experience owning a product portfolio or category, including launch management and lifecycle decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market and data analysis into actions
  • Solid commercial acumen with experience developing business cases or managing product-level P&Ls.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous workstreams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to leadership.
  • High degree of independence, resourcefulness, and personal accountability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AI tools

Responsibilities

  • Own the North American market strategy and roadmap for an assigned product category that align with Blueair’s strategic growth pillars.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) plans
  • Lead the annual business plan development for owned category.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle for the assigned portfolio — from launch readiness through Phase-In / Phase-Out (PIPO) decisions.
  • Own category-level P&L and work cross-functionally to ensure sustainable, profitable growth.
  • Serve as the product expert and primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for the assigned category.
  • Provide product training and launch support to cross-functional teams and customer-facing partners.
  • Lead launch management for new product introductions (NPIs) and line extensions within the assigned category, ensuring launches are delivered on time.
  • Conduct post-launch evaluations and present quarterly portfolio performance reports with actionable insights to leadership.
  • Partner with the Global Product Marketing managers to regionalize new concepts for the NA market.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance Supply Chain, Brand and Legal teams to plan and execute launches.
  • Drive ongoing competitor, category, and market trend analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Develop insight-driven product recommendations and requirements specific to the U.S. and Canadian consumer.
  • Champion claims & regulatory awareness for the assigned category including claims development, document review and legal sign-off support.
  • Define and manage Product Channel Pricing (PCP) for the assigned portfolio in collaboration with Sales.
  • Support annual channel planning for key retailer and customer engagement.
