About The Position

The Product Manager (Mini PC Category) owns the commercial success, regional strategy, and inventory health of ASUS’s Mini PC portfolio across Canada and Mexico. This role partners closely with Marketing, Warehouse, Sales FAE, External Partners, and HQ to localize global product roadmaps, drive go-to-market execution, and support commercial customer wins in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, energetic, organized, and detail-oriented, with a strong passion for computers and technology and the ability to thrive under pressure while owning complex, cross-functional responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of PC hardware market trends and customer pain points.
  • Ability to provide product strategy while maintaining daily high-touch communication with sales teams and key customers.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for data modeling, margin analysis, and sales forecasting.
  • Proven ability to create and deliver persuasive product training and roadmap presentations to both internal stakeholders and external C-suite executives.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing, result-oriented environment that requires managing multiple priorities across different time zones.
  • Years of Education Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Work Experience 5+ years of total professional experience, with at least 3+ years of experience in the technology industry (PC, Server, or Hardware) or other directly relevant hardware-focused roles.
  • Language Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required. Mandarin, Spanish, or French proficiency is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven Track Record: Experience in a Pre-Sales, BDM, or Sales-support role is highly preferred.
  • Commercial hardware experience preferred, including exposure to B2B customers, channel partners, or distributor-based sales environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the regional launch of new products.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive GTM plans tailored to the unique economic landscapes of Canada and Mexico.
  • Serve as the technical and commercial subject matter expert in client meetings.
  • Assist Account Managers in translating complex technical specifications into clear customer benefits to close high-value projects.
  • Take full ownership of inventory health. This includes weekly forecasting, placing orders, and managing EOL transitions to minimize distressed inventory.
  • Monitor and report on regional revenue and gross margins.
  • Define pricing structures, including discounts and rebates, to ensure profitability targets are met.
  • Conduct continuous competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends.
  • Closely monitor shipments and logistics to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies, particularly across international borders.
