The Role We’re seeking an ambitious Product Manager Intern, Cybersecurity to join our Product Management Department. This is a Hybrid role, requiring office presence in San Jose, CA, and reporting to the Director, Product Management- Cyber and ATP. The Product Manager Intern for Cybersecurity will support the product lifecycle by conducting market research, analyzing customer needs, and translating technical requirements into clear product specifications. This role directly impacts the product roadmap by identifying new security features and opportunities that drive adoption, revenue, and competitive differentiation in the cybersecurity market. You'll gain hands-on experience balancing business value, customer experience, and technical feasibility. What you’ll do (Role Expectations) Market and User Story Development: Conduct competitive analysis and gather customer feedback to define and document clear, prioritized user stories and requirements for new security features or enhancements, ensuring alignment with the core product vision. Technical Feasibility and Collaboration: Partner directly with Engineering and UX/UI teams to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria, and ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions, focusing on secure implementation and delivery. Product Performance Monitoring: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) like feature adoption rates, usage metrics, and customer support tickets related to cybersecurity functions to identify product gaps and inform future iteration decisions. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of core cybersecurity concepts, network security principles, cloud security models, or common security frameworks - AI, IPS, Sandboxing, SSL
  • Motivated self-starter with a passion for innovation and technology, specifically in the product space.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on Technical Exposure: Experience with cybersecurity domains like AI, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Sandboxing technologies, or SSL inspection.
  • Product Methodology Experience: Direct exposure to Agile methodologies, Scrum, or experience using product management tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms for backlog management and documentation.
