About The Position

As the Cybersecurity Intern, you'll support efforts to protect the University of Iowa's digital infrastructure, including cabling, control networks, and metering systems, through technical writing, asset management, and cybersecurity documentation. Independently perform data collection and analysis, conducting field assessments at campus plants Create and maintain cybersecurity documentation, including security plans, incident procedures, and asset inventories Assist in monitoring security logs, analyzing network traffic, and developing security training materials

Requirements

  • Must be an enrolled student at the University of Iowa or Kirkwood Community College
  • Familiarity with technical writing, document organization, or cybersecurity principles
  • Daily attendance at a worksite is required
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Tools to create documents, presentations, spreadsheets, pivots, and charts
