This position is responsible for identifying and delivering on key strategic marketing and innovation objectives for the Advanced Access Device (AAD) platform. This includes, but is not limited to, growing the business globally by identifying new opportunities for growth, developing competitive platforms that penetrate existing markets, maintaining focus on key revenue product initiatives, and supporting/leading strategic initiatives to meet/exceed global revenue targets over the strategic planning horizon. In this role you will focus on assessing innovation opportunities for entry into active exploratory and accelerating new product development through idea phase into Global Product Develop System (GPDS). The role will also support BD Excellence programs, tariffs, key Advanced Access Device (ADD) strategic growth initiatives, and develop/update global market models.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry
  • Strategic marketing experience designed to drive business growth and product success. (i.e. Market Planning, Competitive Analysis, Pricing Strategy, Customer Insights/Analytics, Market Opportunity Assessment etc.)
  • Ability to identify and quantify clinical and outcome-focused synergies and solutions across a broad portfolio of products and programs
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills, and can clearly articulate value and garner cross-functional buy-in to ideas and approaches
  • Ability to travel nationally and globally (up to 20%)

Responsibilities

  • Drive Market and Portfolio Insights: Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform product or solution strategy, ensuring strategic alignment and continuous improvement across the AAD Platform.
  • Assess market research activities, develop fact-based customer insights, and provide insights-based recommendations to the platform leadership team.
  • Responsible for identifying and driving key innovation through the BD innovation process by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver an AAD innovation funnel. Works with teams to ensure timely execution from ideation to delivery.
  • Lead BD Excellence programs as defined, along with GP improvement program strategy analysis support (GPTF).
  • Assess financial implications including profitability, viability, and complex product/market trade-offs.
  • Support Development and Execution of Annual Marketing and Long-Term ASR Plans aligned with business objectives, ensuring execution and cross-functional alignment.
