About The Position

The Product Manager II (PM2) will be responsible for driving the development and execution of the long-term product roadmap for the Workflows team at Paylocity. This role involves managing complex migrations, overseeing the sunsetting of legacy solutions, and ensuring seamless integration of workflows across the product group to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will utilize data-driven decision-making, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate exceptional communication abilities to coordinate efforts across diverse teams.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of product management experience, preferably with cross-platform or enterprise-level solutions.
• Strong ability to analyze and interpret data to drive decision-making.
• Experience with system migrations and product sunsetting.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across teams.
• Highly organized with a track record of successfully managing complex projects and competing priorities.
• Proactive and resourceful in overcoming challenges and driving results.
• Experience working in agile development environments.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge and experience of platforms.
• Experience with HCM software is desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development and execution of the long-term product roadmap for the Workflows team.
• Manage complex migrations in collaboration with the Group Product Manager.
• Oversee the sunsetting of legacy solutions.
• Ensure workflows are seamlessly integrated and aligned to meet customer needs.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships across sales, operations, HR, and leadership groups.
• Deliver measurable improvements by owning key initiatives within the workflows space.
• Initiate a well-structured sunset plan for legacy solutions.
• Develop a clear, data-driven roadmap aligned with company goals for the next 12-18 months.
