Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead strategic product management for our high-flow product categories. This role is accountable for defining and executing the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for assigned high-flow air-moving products across GAST/Airtech. This leader drives growth by identifying market opportunities, translating voice-of-customer and competitive insights into clear requirements and business cases, and leading cross-functional execution from concept through launch and lifecycle management. Partnering across Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering, the Product Manager continuously evaluates portfolio performance, identifies opportunities to improve mix and reduce complexity, and plans product transitions and end-of-life pathways to ensure long-term health of the portfolio. The role requires strong communication, technical fluency, and consistent follow-through to align stakeholders and deliver customer-valued outcomes at scale. This role requires comfort operating in an industrial, engineered‑to‑application environment with complex product portfolios and global manufacturing considerations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, manufacturing, or engineering discipline
  • 5–7 years of product management experience spanning ideation through launch and commercialization; preferably in a B2B or industrial manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with air moving products preferred
  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required
  • Strategic thinking and market analysis capability.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to build compelling business cases.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a matrix organization.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Office and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap Develop and execute a 3-year product roadmap aligned with business strategy and customer needs.
  • Identify new product opportunities through VOC (Voice of Customer) and competitive analysis.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned product lines.
  • Own commercialization planning for new product launches, including launch timing, target applications, value propositions, and internal readiness.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to develop go‑to‑market plans that ensure successful adoption and revenue ramp.
  • Define launch success metrics and track post‑launch performance, incorporating learnings into roadmap updates and future product launches.
  • Project Management Lead cross-functional teams through milestone-driven NPD processes from concept to commercialization.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to plan, track, and execute product-related projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Facilitate regular project team meetings, driving accountability and ensuring alignment across engineering, operations, sourcing, and marketing.
  • Provide timely project status updates to leadership, including schedule impacts, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
  • Portfolio Simplification (80/20) Drive SKU rationalization and complexity reduction initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Evaluate product line performance and lifecycle stage to recommend investment, sustainment, or exit decisions.
  • Pricing & Profitability Own list pricing for all new SKUs and collaborate with sales leadership on pricing models and discount structures.
  • Monitor product line profitability and mix performance, recommending actions to improve margin and portfolio health.
  • Customer Engagement Conduct regular VOC activities (interviews, surveys) to inform product improvements and innovation.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and customer visits to strengthen relationships and gather insights.
  • Support key customer engagements during new product launches, including application discussions and early‑adopter feedback.
  • Perform other assignments as directed by the Director of Product Management
