As a Product Manager in the SITA Communications and Data Exchange team, you will join our dynamic Value Added Services Product Team in managing cybersecurity, application performance, and cloud products to achieve their strategic financial and customer satisfaction objectives. The Value-Added Services team is responsible for various products comprising but not limited to, unified communication and contact center services, wireless and mobility, security, and LAN services. This role will shape the strategy to achieve revenue and profit growth of the assigned products in line with the SITA strategic plans and manage the product line's performance throughout its product life cycle.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of proven success in product management
  • Knowledge of aviation and travel industries and economic drivers is a plus
  • A track record in defining market requirements and functional specifications
  • Good knowledge of Product Management methodologies like Agile or Scrum
  • Action-oriented
  • Ability to translate solutions understanding into a compelling story for customers
  • A track record of delivering results in Product Management in a global business environment and within a technology solutions-based business
  • Track record of achieving Product revenue growth and managing product P&Ls
  • Capability of leading and influencing virtual teams focused on delivery and support within an international environment

  • Technologies: Security Service Edge SSE, Secure Access Service Edge SASE, Firewall, VPN, network access control NAC, Zero trust, network segmentation, consultancy, vulnerability assessment, compliance with local and industry regulations (pen testing, ISO27001, SOC 2 type II, PCI, GDPR …), DDoS protection, XDR, public cloud, application performance
  • Vendor knowledge: Cisco, Palo Alto, Zscaler, Fortinet, Versa, Crowdstrike, Aruba, Akamai Assavie, AWS and Azure public cloud, Riverbed, Orange Cyber Defense, Arbor
  • Education and qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree level or equivalent in a technical, business, engineering or marketing discipline essential; Master degree a plus; MBA / EMBA is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and understand market trends and customer needs
  • Articulate and document the product vision strategy for the Communications and Data Exchange business unit and define the target market in line with market trends, customer needs and SITA strategy
  • Select the partners and vendors to collaborate with
  • Establish and implement an effective channel 'go to market' strategy for the products to include an agreed and executed sales and marketing plan
  • Support bid management processes and pre-sales customer interactions
  • Support Sales forces with a clear product value proposition and training
  • Propose product innovations as well as requirements for enhancements to existing products/services
  • Define product functional requirements
  • Guide product development project throughout the build/launch process to ensure delivery of the right product to market within the agreed timescales
  • Participate in cross-functional teams that ensure the timely/cost-effective and quality delivery of product developments and product performance
  • Contribute to the management of partnerships and supplier relationships
  • Monitor and manage the cost structure related to the product
  • Develop and manage the product roadmap throughout the lifecycle from conception to retirement
  • Track the product(s) P&L revenue new business and profitability including competitive pricing of the product(s) in the marketplace
  • Propose product investments
  • Define and develop the product value proposition
  • Responsible for all product marketing activities during the product's lifetime
  • Organize run and work with user groups and other customer forums to develop customer relationships and influence market thinking
  • Define a pricing strategy for the product(s)
  • Ensure that key players understand the pricing strategy and apply it
  • Ensure the product is profitable by controlling the cost and the allocation of revenue
  • Ensure communication of the project plans progress tracking to all relevant parties
  • Comply with Product Management procedures and best practice
  • Act as coordinator for those working on the product development stage gate and product projects
