About The Position

As a Product Manager for Cloud Data Protection within the Infrastructure Platform Data Protection and Recovery organization, you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.
A strong grasp of cloud computing concepts, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, networking, and data management.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage product development and deadlines.
Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics.
Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management.
Demonstrated prior experience influencing across highly matrixed, complex organizations and delivering value at scale.
Experience with discussing and understanding complex technical concepts to manage tradeoffs with engineering teams.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and adapt to changing market conditions, technologies, and priorities.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
Experience with end to end product delivery.
Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts and manage tradeoffs.
Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex, and heavily regulated organization.
Insatiable curiosity to learn new domains, keep up with industry innovation, and constantly ask 'why'.
Passion for product management and strong experience with developing service offerings as they relate to a Core Cloud Infrastructure Services.

Responsibilities

Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers.
Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap.
Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition.
Translate requirements into features and user stories and drive technical team's understanding of requirements.
Establish KPIs, identify gaps, and improve performance and adoption of the platform.
Decomposes complex problems into straight-forward solutions. Consistently brings strong, data-driven business, and technical judgment to decisions.
Communicates ideas effectively, verbally and in writing, to a wide range of audiences, including upper-management. Fosters a constructive dialogue, harmonizes discordant views, and leads the resolution of issues.
