About The Position

The Discovery pillar’s mission is to make it easy and delightful for retailers to find brands and products their customers will love. We’re looking for a user-focused Product Manager to help shape the future of discovery across both search and browse experiences. In this role, you’ll reimagine how users navigate our vast catalog—whether they come with a clear goal or are open to inspiration. Your work will empower retailers to find the right products with confidence and ease. You’ll collaborate closely with design, engineering, and data to craft fast, intuitive, and inspiring experiences, while exploring how AI can unlock a more intelligent, contextual, and personalized path to discovery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience at a tech company in a product, software development, or analytical role or as a startup founder.
  • Extraordinarily fast learner with natural curiosity, low ego, and intellectual horsepower.
  • Relentlessly resourceful and able to execute with limited information and ambiguity.
  • Creative problem-solver with the ability to identify unintuitive solutions.
  • Analytical with experience driving business insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas compellingly and simply in both written and verbal communication.
  • Passionate about developing products and solutions that create the best experience for customers.
  • Inspiring leader excited about understanding customers and working with a strong team.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the end-to-end discovery experience across both search and browse surfaces, including navigation, filters, sort, layout, and carousels.
  • Support initiatives that explore AI-powered search experiences—like conversational interfaces and smart suggestions.
  • Champion the voice of the customer by deeply understanding their needs, pain points, and behaviors through ongoing research, feedback loops, and user engagement.
  • Help define hypotheses, support A/B testing, and analyze results to inform product decisions.
  • Partner with Search & Personalization teams to better understand how algorithms shape the user experience.
  • Help manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and ensure smooth day-to-day execution in partnership with your team.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and data science to align on priorities and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Share updates, learnings, and progress regularly with teammates and stakeholders.
