About The Position

The Product Line Manager – Bag is responsible for leading the strategy, lifecycle, and commercial success of BW Converting’s Bag product line, including the Hudson-Sharp brand. This role owns product vision and execution—from market analysis and product development to go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, and financial performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or product development for capital equipment
  • Proven success launching products and working with Tier 1 customers
  • Strong business, financial, and P&L acumen
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Global mindset with experience in international business environments
  • Customer-centric, innovative, and results-driven approach

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in bag/pouch or flexible packaging markets preferred

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) strategy and multi-generation product plans
  • Lead product development, launches, and go-to-market execution (positioning, messaging, tools, training)
  • Drive market share growth through new product introductions, pricing, promotions, and market expansion
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Marketing in a matrix organization
  • Deliver sales enablement tools and communicate product value propositions to internal and external stakeholders
  • Own product financial performance, including forecasting, pricing, margin, and P&L support
  • Gather and apply Voice of Customer (VOC) insights to guide product and marketing decisions
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, and key industry influencers
  • Stay current on global market trends impacting the bag and flexible packaging segments
  • Support international markets; global travel required
