Our mission is to build an AI partner that plans, creates, deploys and optimizes growth across all applicable avenues - email, SMS, social, offers, SEO and more. The purpose is simple: Dramatically reduce operator time and effort by giving every business a marketing manager out of the box Drive incremental revenue for merchants of all shapes, sizes and needs Drive efficiency for our human-led services offering, turning our marketing specialists from marketers into orchestrators of agents This group operates like a startup within Toast: fast-moving, customer-obsessed, and relentlessly focused on impact and results. About this roll (Responsibilities) We are looking for a high-performing Product Manager to lead our nascent Marketing Agent product space. The ideal candidate has an obsession with deeply understanding user needs, creating world-class products and thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Requirements
- 3+ years of product management experience, with a track record of driving strategy, execution and impact for complex data, marketing and demand generation products.
- Entrepreneurial mindset - you thrive in fast-paced environments, balance short-term results with long-term vision and embrace iteration.
- Track record of driving commercial success for products across multiple monetization strategies.
- Experience building platforms and products at scale, ideally with SaaS, data platforms or marketing automation tools.
- Strong ability to translate data into actionable insights and customer outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams and stakeholders around a shared mission.
Responsibilities
- Lead the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Toast’s Marketing Agent, including how the agent should operate, what skills are important and the best path to drive impact for the most merchants at scale.
- Integrate across Toast’s Agentic Toast IQ Platform to deliver a personalized, “meet me where I am” experience for each merchant that outperforms an on-staff marketing manager.
- Explore and launch new skills that help restaurants reach and engage guests more effectively, guided by data and always-on automation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales) to define and deliver innovative, high-impact features.
- Drive deep customer empathy through interviews, testing, analytics, and insights to ensure we are solving real problems for restaurants.
- Advocate for data quality, privacy, and compliance, ensuring Toast continues to earn and maintain customer trust.
- Act as a thought leader on how data, AI, and marketing technology can transform merchant outcomes.
