The Product Manager 3 is responsible for creating high-level strategies developing short and long-term roadmaps for the assigned product category/categories by setting individual strategies and prioritization that aligns with larger business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Own and provide strategic direction for product categories 3-year roadmap.
  • Make data driven decision to align team priorities to support product lifecycle implementation.
  • Lead a high performing team across multiple product categories, collaborating with senior management to provide leadership, mentorship, and ensuring team alignment to organizational objectives.
  • Provide growth and development opportunities for members to enhance their skills and capabilities, resulting in high performing teams.
  • Independently own organization wide initiatives, driving change and improvement within multiple product categories.
  • Utilize in-depth market analysis and competitive intelligence to make strategic product recommendations.
  • Foster team culture focused on customer solutions that support brand strategies, customer requirements, and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, presenting product strategies, performance metrics and portfolio optimization opportunities.
  • Influence financial performance, targets, and budgets within product categories to support portfolio profitability and positively impact growth.
  • Implement and encourage continuous improvement initiatives within product management, supporting a culture of risk taking and innovation.
  • Supervise, coordinate, provide leadership and review work of assigned members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and recommend merit increases, promotions, transfers, corrective actions, and other personnel actions.
  • Interview and recommend candidates for employment.
  • Drive member engagement.
  • Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience is required; 7 years of experience preferred.
