How will you make an impact? In this role, there will be a focus on the Quality Controls portfolio within our Niche Diagnostics (NDX) business unit. The Product Manager will support the execution and continuous improvement of on-market products and incremental innovation initiatives, working closely with Product Management leadership and a Senior Product Manager. The ideal candidate will help build and enhance products from existing concepts and contribute to the development of new ideas based on structured customer input, market research, and defined portfolio priorities. This role operates with clearly defined objectives and priorities, receiving guidance from senior Product Management, while offering the opportunity to grow toward increased product ownership over time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Life Sciences or related scientific field preferred.
  • 2+ years of product management or relevant experience (e.g., technical, marketing, or customer-facing roles).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical and creative problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively in a matrixed environment.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and learning from senior stakeholders.
  • Customer-focused mindset with interest in developing deeper product and market expertise.
  • Ability to work independently with guidance and coaching.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the IVD clinical laboratory market preferred; exposure to clinical chemistry or immunoassay is a plus.
  • Familiarity with clinical laboratory workflows, including patient samples, instruments, and quality controls, is beneficial.
  • Experience supporting products in regulated environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Product & Portfolio Support Support on-market products and contribute to new product launch activities under the guidance of senior Product Management.
  • Support lifecycle activities, including product enhancements, change management, and issue resolution.
  • Support identification of product portfolio gaps and incremental improvement opportunities based on VOC input, market research, and leadership direction.
  • Customer & Market Insights Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) activities to support new product introductions and improvements to existing products.
  • Stay informed on market trends and competitive landscape to support product planning and prioritization.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer workflows and unmet needs within clinical laboratory quality control.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration Participate in product planning meetings and provide input and recommendations on product direction.
  • Support development of User Needs and Product Requirements documentation for defined features and enhancements.
  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Marketing, and Sales to support product execution.
  • Commercial & Enablement Support Support global Commercial Sales and Marketing teams by serving as a technical product resource.
  • Support sales force training and participate in product demonstrations as needed.
  • Work directly with Sales and customers on existing and new products, in alignment with defined engagement plans.
