About The Position

The Quality Management Specialist partners with the Ryan White Program Director to update and execute the Resource Center Health Quality Management Plan. This role coordinates the Quality Management Committee and its workgroups—planning meetings, keeping minutes and documentation—and leads data-driven quality improvement (QI) efforts that improve service delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum — two years college associate degree
  • Strong written communication, organization, time management, and demonstrated interest in process/program improvement.
  • Proven experience analyzing performance data and leading or implementing QI projects (including corrective action planning) and facilitating committees or workgroups.
  • Availability to attend required county and state meetings/trainings.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s in public health, health care, social services, or related field.
  • Familiarity with Ryan White/HIV service delivery is preferred.
  • Comfortable with data analysis, visualization tools, and KPI reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and facilitate regular Quality Management Committee and workgroup meetings; prepare minutes and maintain project documentation.
  • Represent the program at Dallas County Health & Human Services and the Texas Department of State Health Services for quality meetings and training.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities; design, implement, and monitor QI projects and corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align QI initiatives with organizational priorities.
  • Lead training and workshops to build QI capacity and support continuous improvement.
  • Produce clear, data-driven reports and presentations that measure KPIs and recommend action.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
