About The Position

Being a member of the Clearing & Securities Services group, the Managing Director, Growth and Business Development, Wealth Management is accountable for driving the strategic growth and business development of the Wealth Management business. This includes responsibility for developing and executing a comprehensive strategic roadmap for growth, identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities, and leading initiatives to expand the client base and increase revenue through the sale of wealth products. The role ensures the Wealth Management business remains competitive and relevant to clients, while maintaining alignment with risk/control and regulatory requirements and supporting the overall strategic goals of DTCC.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years of related experience gained in various leadership roles, including product and strategy roles.
  • A significant contributor to product strategy in which technological advancement and new business models are key growth areas.
  • Adept at working cross functionally with technology, finance, business leaders and junior team members alike.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline or equivalent work experience required. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to digest and synthesize large amounts of data and information into executive level reports and documents.
  • Proven track record to prioritize, meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative and flexible, with strong relationship building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage budgets and resources.
  • Ability to influence others through strong communication skills.
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Set the long-term direction and roadmap for products, identify opportunities and align strategy with business goals.
  • Define product vision, strategy, and multi‑year roadmap that reflects business objectives and client needs.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to inform product direction.
  • Integrate client feedback, regulatory insights, and operational considerations into strategic planning.
  • Own commercial outcomes, including revenue, profitability, adoption, and client satisfaction.
  • Use data and performance metrics to inform prioritization, resourcing, and strategic adjustments.
  • Partner with Product Owners to validate backlog prioritization and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Ensure backlog items reflect clear business value, market opportunity, and operational feasibility.
  • Lead product performance management, including revenue analysis, profitability assessment, adoption tracking, and client insights synthesis.
  • Own cross-functional planning efforts such as business cases, annual planning, and go-to-market readiness.
  • Collaborate with technology, operations, finance, marketing, risk, and client facing teams to manage the product lifecycle.
  • Contribute to broader organizational change efforts tied to product strategy and operational readiness.
  • Make investment and prioritization decisions based on ROI, strategic impact, client value, and resource availability.
  • Provide strategic insights to internal stakeholders to guide planning, risk mitigation, and senior level decision making.
  • Maintain alignment across teams through clear communication, documentation, and consistent reporting.
  • Engage with clients, advisory councils, working groups, and industry forums to uncover pain points and validate product direction
  • Use client and market feedback to refine roadmap and influence future-state strategy
