Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field (MBA Preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a Product strategy or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for developing a product roadmap 10+ years into the future.
• Accountable for developing a 5-year Product Strategic Plan.
• Ability to develop & implement long-term product strategies.
• Identify & evaluate new business opportunities & market trends.
• Work closely with CTO to define & develop technology roadmap.
• Develop & implement strategic plans to drive product growth & innovation.
• Develop roadmap to increase market share & execute strategy for new products.
• Conduct market research & competitive analysis to inform product strategy & business development efforts.
• Defining where we will play - i.e. markets, geographies for the commercial team.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements & competitor activities.
• Ability to think creatively & drive product innovation.
• Create metrics & measure the impact of product innovation on business growth.
• Establish profit margin expectations for current & new products.
• Work with Purchasing to ensure that we have the right supply chain & material strategy.
• Work with Engineering to assure we are developing the right products in time.
• Develop opportunities to increase product profitability by leading engineering & sourcing teams in VAVE/CI/profitability roadmap exercises.
• Have strong analytical skills, understanding of financial analysis.
• Strong alignment with Commercial team objectives & Engineering priorities to develop & execute both the 5 Year Strategic Plan & Product Roadmap.
• Successfully launching new products on time & within budget.
• Assuring team is meeting key milestones & executing launches on time.
• Build & maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners & industry influencers.
• Key to establish & maintain strategic partnerships.
• Ensure alignment & successful execution of business initiatives with sales, marketing & engineering teams.
• Lead product development initiatives from concept to launch.
• Experienced in driving business growth with Sales & Marketing.
• Hold team accountable to dates / deliverables & commitments.
• Monitor & analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress & identify areas for improvement.
