Responsibilities

  • Review and manage requests submitted by FSO team as Customer Beyond Spec issues
  • Perform initial screen of Customer request
  • Determine if potential quality issue
  • Validate requestor’s proposed solution
  • Lead weekly meetings to align with key stakeholders on responses to Beyond Spec requests:
  • Identify any solution path to achieve the Beyond Spec request
  • Determine business justification of supporting the request, considering likelihood of repeat beyond spec requests, future business opportunities, impacted product types and fabs, and possible customer escalation
  • Prioritize requests based multiple factors
  • Drive follow-up actions with the appropriate teams, including AGS, BM, BMO, DEA, TPS
  • Follows up on field activities from Beyond Spec work
  • Maintain a consolidated list of Beyond Spec requests
  • Communicate progress and execution to senior executives and stakeholders and make business process recommendations.
  • Monitor and report to the business unit on cost metrics for Beyond Spec activities
  • Proactively review upcoming ship configurations for potential similar issues.
  • Partner with product line management team for bom accuracy.
