Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, materials, operations management, quality or closely related industrial environment.
  • Associate's degree and 7 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, materials planning, operations management, quality or closely related industrial environment.
  • In absence of a degree, High School diploma or equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing, materials, operations management, quality or closely related industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of new product / process technologies.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Understanding of Pratt & Whitney's Quality Procedures, Quality Management Systems and experience using CORE tools.
  • Experience with SAP software.
  • Knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support material planning processes, standard work and initiatives in support of North Berwick Modular Assembly.
  • Coordinate activities between numerous groups and clearly communicate material and module status and identified risks.
  • Research and manage system logistics of part flow and module deliveries using SAP.
  • Provide critical analysis of material affecting the line build plans to help drive output.
  • Collaborate with support teams (quality, engineering, process planning, etc.) to ensure that customer requirements are met.
  • Communicate with Product Delivery Center (PDC), Program Industrial Leads, and assess impact to customer.
  • Work proactively to address issues and engage as needed parties in achieving product line goals.
  • Ensure World Class safety culture is maintained and respond to all Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) requirements promptly.
  • Ensure full involvement in CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) continuous improvement initiatives.
