Responsibilities

Reporting into Obsolescence Management Group
Owns end-to-end obsolescence product change management (PCM) and control for select products / component families: Includes partnering with supply chain teams to review material analysis, assessment of stock out date(s), last time buy opportunities, and end-of-life extension.
Driving supplier compliance for end-of-life notifications through Supplier Account Team
Partnering with Engineering Teams and suppliers to develop alternate solutions to meet customer timelines
Coordinating qual plans and internal quals (including tool time) for projects
Implementation of PCN (Part Change Notification)
Coordinating customer quals with copy exact engineering support
Manufacturing cut-in strategies (by Customer, Fab, Node)
ECO (Engineering Change Order) approval
Ensures that specific project and program objectives are defined for areas of responsibility, and that necessary preliminary activities are completed to allow for effectiveness and focus during later stages of completion.
Ensures that all projects and programs assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to product/process specifications, and timeliness for completion.
Manage strategic vendor issues
Cross-functional execution of programs to meet and exceed division goals
Coordinate product line or division portfolio prioritization and budget alignment
Responsible for business process creation and continuous improvement
Coordinate Division level business continuity planning and crisis management
