About The Position

The Product Investigator I will be responsible for investigating BioHorizons customer product complaints to identify potential and actual root causes and/or product failure modes, logging the data from investigation activities and results into the Complaint Management Database, and assisting in the trending of investigation activities and results, while following the company's documented Quality Management System procedures and requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required
  • 3 years general office experience
  • One year’s experience in a documentation or records management role or function required
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Microsoft Office Suite required including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Function as point of contact for processing customer complaints with internal customers in accordance with company procedures, work instructions and any applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Assists and advise internal customers with the proper techniques of handling customer complaints.
  • Develop and maintain internal department relationships for processing customer complaints in accordance with company procedures and work instructions.
  • Perform a quality review of any Customer complaint records in accordance with company procedures and work instructions.
  • Evaluate reported complaint investigations in accordance with company procedures and work instructions.
  • Document and update company databases connected to applicable product complaint investigations.
  • Enter and transmit medical device product information into US FDA system in accordance with company procedure and work instructions to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Perform a review of company available inventory in support of the stock check process under the complaints management system.
  • Perform general office duties including but not limited to data entry, copying, filing, scanning, and labeling of Customer Complaint and Quality Systems Records in accordance with company procedure and work instructions.
