What’s the role The Product Handler – Sherwood is part of a team of nine people at the site, responsible for delivering safe and reliable operations to serve Shell’s fuel customers in the local market, as well as acting as a supply point for other Shell terminals in the network. Adherence to both Shell and regulatory compliance requirements, respect for Shell’s Code of Conduct, and maintaining our “License to Operate” are essential. This role is crucial in supporting day-to-day operations and serves as a key interface with contractors and carriers, overseeing product handling, stock accounting, and providing truck rack driver support. The Sherwood Terminal receives refined products (gasoline, distillate, and biofuels) via pipeline and truck and ships out products via truck and pipelines (Alberta Products Pipeline/ Enbridge). The terminal operates continuously, 24/7, with support from Product Handlers. The Product Handler position follows a rotating shift schedule, with occasional overtime as needed. Product Handlers are responsible for all operational duties related to the receipt, storage, and distribution of its products.
