Job Scope Responsibility to support the initiatives of the Global Quality Assurance Group. Primary duties include supporting PER product inspection and the other Quality Assurance systems as further described below.

Requirements

  • A minimum of an associate technical degree or equivalent technical experience. Possess mechanical aptitude with demonstrated examples of hands-on experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
  • Proficient in the use of electronic systems and software Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills required (both written and verbal).
  • Self-motivated and desire to excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Victaulic product line is beneficial.
  • Fundamental knowledge of technical drawing interpretation is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Support Victaulic’s Product Evaluation Request (PER) system by conducting lab evaluations of returned products for purposes of determining and documenting failure modes.
  • In the case of complex PER failure modes, interface with Quality and Application Engineering as appropriate to further investigate and determine evaluation methods.
  • Assist the Global Quality Group with day-to-day activities which may include data mining & analysis, product returns, visual & dimensional inspection, report generation, and Past Performance Analyses.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills required (both written and verbal).
  • Self-motivated and desire to excel.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced and changing work environment on a day-to-day basis.
